Keith's report on the meeting with Dalman on Saturday stated that the EFL had not exactly been supportive as far as the embargo was concerned. Perhaps this is an example of this lack of support. Also Ridsdale is on the board of the EFL. Is he putting he boot in ?

I'm not sure what support we want in relation to the embargo to be honest.

Absolutely correct. However, if I understand the situation correctly, the embargo is not absolute hence us trying to sign out of contract players. We are a member club of the EFL and the club's view is that they should be supportive in terms of what we are allowed to do. You would hope that they are not putting obstacles in the way of us trying to do what is permissible.

I understand that. Freebies and loans is what I am led to believe.

I'm just not sure what help and co-operation the club want in the event of a missed deadline. Unless there is a spare time machine knocking about.

We should have asked for their help when the embargo first hit and asked for the ramifications of not paying. It is on the board that this wasn't done properly.
