When NYC wrote I fear we are going down .....that person wasn't worried about the idea of going down ?

I think he was and if you know him have a word , he's clearly hysterical
One reactionary post to a bad game. I haven't been freaking out about it all season.

Also complete rubbish, other than a couple on here I don’t know anyone that thought we were doomed. In a poor position yes, struggling yes, rubbish yes. But most people I spoke to thought we weren’t conceding many, most the games were close and with a bit of luck and confidence it could be turned around, not that it would but it could, and all was to play for.
Spot on. In fact, I think we both said pretty much exactly this in the Hull match thread following that defeat. Some were throwing the towel in at that stage, but others of us said it was far too early for that considering the defensive record and the fact that the team wasn’t even in the relegation zone.

And guess what? Here we are three games later, the team has kept another two clean sheets and it still isn’t in the relegation zone.

Re: Will 48 points be enough ?

I realise we’ve been saying every season that the Championship is average, but this one really is. I just don’t see any real difference between any of the sides, apart from Burnley who seem to have a consistency and way of playing that is taking them straight back up.
I suggest the reason the teams are so average is that championship sides have spent little over the last couple of years due to the coronavirus pandemic. This has evened things up greatly.
Having said all that, most of the teams in the top 8 or so and the teams in the bottom 8 have been more or less the same for months, suggesting a level of consistency is what is required to secure a solid place in the table.
As far as City’s position goes, all the teams down there with them have been all season. I don’t think we have to go any further up the table than Brum to work out the bottom 3 come May. I’ve said for some time that Wigan, Blackpool and Rotherham are for the drop. Hope I’m right.

It’s not average this season, it’s dreadful. The overall standard of football in the Championship is shocking.

I was trying to be polite, but you are right, this has been an awful season and the standards have dropped substantially.

I've been through my posts this year. Not once have I categorically stated we're going down this season. You reckoned we wouldn't win another game.

You could slip your way out of a slippery eel contest

You thought at one point our side was so bad that if we did miraculously survive we would deffo go down next season!

You can deny you said it if you want I know the score

Were you stoned when you read that? My post, as I've repeated above, said that IF the club continues to be run as it is, we'll either go down this season or next or after that. Not at any time have I suggested survival would be miraculous. I've read my posts. I suggest you do too or I'll make you look like a total arse.

You have spent as long as anyone else having a negative opinion of this seasons team blaming most of our desperate position on warnock , route one football or a combination of the two

Half your posts seem to be about our dreadful run of defeats

Please don't insult my intelligence by pretending you are some kind of half glass full kinda fan and my recent moribund analysis is in character

I enjoy stats. I find them fascinating in a way. Our woeful form has seen us break records.

Please explain how that equates to having a negative opinion on the side when I'm merely looking at things from a statistical point of view? No-one has had a bigger downer on the club than you.

My post count will show that it is only since January that I have started to feel we were going down . This January .

I have always stuck by the managers even though they sometimes were clearly not the right choice.

There are plenty of fans on here who are miserable feggers and have been since the dawn of time .

Hasn't stopped you slagging the side off for not playing long ball though.

Lose, people squabble like children, win nothing changes. It’s so tedious.
