I fitted it on Saturday evening. No one else has come to the door since and I popped out today for some drinks.

People are always knocking on my front door

And my back door

Judging by your wardrobe sense, and the fact you've got no technology there (you tell us until our ears bleed you can't use it so I doubt you've got anything worthwhile)
I reckon your gaffnis safe.

Anyone who cases the joint and sees you walking in the front door in your terrible clothing will leave the place alone, I am sure.

Ring doorbell is great (especially if the front door is the only real access to the house).

If you want to go the whole hog then Ring do a lot of alarm options too.
