He’s a very wealthy guy, so won’t need to put up with stuff that maybe other coaches would, if they were appointed.
He’s an intelligent individual who has played at the highest level in a number of leagues, he’s probably able to leverage that in attracting some talented coaches and maybe loan players into the squad
I might be totally wrong, but I really don’t see how he can carry on playing with the amount of set backs he’s had with injuries, and if he chooses to go into a managerial role, where better to start
than his home town club?
I have no time for this current board, I think having someone who isn’t financially reliant on the job, puts him into a position of strength
To put it bluntly I doubt he’d take any crap from them
Also at the back of my mind is still the complete f&@Ł up years ago when Toshack wanted to come back as a coach and the board at the time missed a massive opportunity to get a home grown player back
