Your response suggests to me you are aware you have made a number of assumptions about this statue that have claimed to be fact but which clearly are not , you have spoken claiming that the statue should be preserved as it is there to remind people what a bad thing slavery was . I dont think think there is any evidence of that at all.

I have lived in neath , manchester , oxford , bradford and cardiff , I am certainly not a country pumpkin but if you want to believe that and use it as an insult then it doesnt bother me
