I am in a fortunate position in that I am retired, so this latest lockdown will have very little impact on us as we have effectively remained in the March 2020 lockdown situation i.e. only going essential shopping once a week, late in the evening. Other than visiting the other couple who are in our bubble (in the next village 2 miles away) we only go out for exercise, typically walking around the village.

We haven't seen either of our sons or their families since Christmas 2019 as they live 110 miles and 170 miles away from us respectively. My youngest son is a secondary school teacher and has recently contracted COVID, presumably from school. He passed it on to his wife and the three children and they are now just coming up to the end of their 14 days isolation. The kids didn't suffer too much but his wife is not too good at all.

My last job when I was working I could easily have done from home as it was office based. In fact I would have been more productive at home as I was able to show in my last but one job.
