How would it be sabre rattling if he's the controlled opposition? Surely there's no such thing as a bluff in that case

He's bluffed and blustered since February. Ukrainian forces have attacked Russia proper and Crimea, but he hasn't deployed any of his heavy bombers in retaliation. Zelensky's Kiev palace remains untouched. He could, so military analysts I have read say, have flattened Kiev at any time with conventional hypersonic weapons that are so fast no defence missile system can stop them.
