Everyone has an ideology and bias - and if you are telling me you dont - then I 100% do not believe you.

This year Welsh Water prices are going down (those horrible not for profit people - how dare they lower the prices)
From experience of dealing the WW - they are great - but that is just my opinion.
It definitely is better than what is available in England. I am lucky in the sense that our water company is applying to raise prices by a lower than average amount, 25%. My bias is completely clear. Human's need water to survive and I can't see much of a point to having a democratically elected government if they aren't even in charge of a need that basic.

What would happen if Welsh Water suddenly became shit at what they do, who is in control of their remit/permit to be the sole provider of water to Wales?

It might not be on the horizon but you only need to look a few miles to the east to see just how dysfunctional a system can be.
