You could always buy a ST and watch the game from level 4? Bar stays open. Loads stay in there

well so far we've spent nothing, and got in 1m

    Does that inspire you ?

    1 Emiliano Sala Centre-Forward €17.00m

    2 Gary Medel Centre-Back €13.00m
3 Josh Murphy Left Winger €11.40m
    4 Bobby De Cordova-Reid Right Winger €11.35m

I don’t like drinking at football, I know the football is shocking and the actual experience is dire but I’ve never been one for getting drunk to watch football. Am I missing out? Maybe I should give it a go see if it becomes exciting? Pills and coke were quite common in the rave days but that didn’t mix with football either.

First season ticket for a decade. I really can't wait for it to start. I have no expectations other than it will be good to be back.

The coke was probably what kept me going years ago tbh.

I agree on the drinking and football, theres having a couple before and going flat out after the football, and theres starting 4 hours before a ball is kicked and missing ko to finish a pint, rushing down ht etc. No care for the 15 people you pass 3 times a game while the game is live to have a piss because your bladder cant hold til ht/ft. Those people are arseholes.

All of you realise NCB is only doing this to throw it back in your face in a few months time if we do better that you suggest..

    Top 8 possibly

If we can stick the ball in the net more regularly then we could trouble the play offs

I always look forward, and end it slightly underwhelmed .

For me its become a day where you can socialise with your kind.

Always optimistic at this time of year.
It's when the season starts that reality kicks in, and the hopes and dreams i had in the off-season, are quickly erased from my memory as we inevitably struggle in the league and get knocked out of the league cup.

Hopeful that youngsters will be given more of a chance in the first team but I expect to get those dashed when I see his first squad.

Didn’t renew as I’ll miss a number of games, so will do one off games instead
My feelings - completely indifferent to any of it, seen it all before AND if we continue to play in the same way, the games I attend maybe very few and far between
The few times I have enjoyed watching us was Dave Jones choose era, malky and warnock was bearable rather than enjoyable, the rest of it has been pretty dire, Slade, McCarth and everyone else inbetween

I think ill be going to about the same amount of games as I did last year. Bit of a damp squib so far isn't it ?

Nah, not on this occasion it's just nice to gauge opinion and see how people are feeling, it is too early to know who we will sign and what will happen yet.

It will be interesting to see what has happened in the transfer window and how people feel just before the season starts though

I love the way a clutch of youngsters have developed in the past year and forced themselves into consideration (and onto the plane to Austria). It is still the time of year when I can dream that Ramsey and O'Dowda will stay fit, that Rubin Colwill will tear up the Championship, and that another 4 or 5 signings (including 2 strikers) will transform the squad. There will be plenty of time for pessimism later, when reality kicks us in the head!

Has anyone mentioned Tommy Conway as an option? Isn't there some FA/FAW rule that we have to sign a certain number of Bristol City players over a rolling 3 year period? He was their top scorer again last season and wants out!

Was reading about him and thinking he'd be a good signing for us. 12 goals in both of the last 2 seasons, still only 21. Out of our price range perhaps?

The seems to be some Rangers interest - although they have missed out to Championship teams a few times this summer.

I read something about QPR striker Lyndon Dykes and Blackburn. Cant really say I've seen a lot of him, is he better than anyone we've been linked with?

Fingers crossed they will learn from last year and take things very cautiously, if he feels a twinge take him straight off and rest him for as long as is needed.

Talk is that he has worked through the summer and is feeling pretty good, a fit Ramsey would add so much, even for half the games.

Not gonna happen. Hasn't happened since his decline at Arsenal. We need to forget about him. Don't start him. Have him come on in the last 20.

    You are probably right, unfortunately

    But you never know
