You're right of course but to me at the time although stamping on someone isn't 'fair game' when they're out of the picture, I thought there was mitigating circumstances for my mate but the law says otherwise.
My mate couldn't really remember doing it, he was pissed and when he gets going he's a handful.
Interesting evidence used against him was the other bloke's face had the imprint of an Adidas trainer sole on his cheek. Adidas Copenhagan and not Kick which would've added to the occasion and black humour in my warped eyes.
