Tanner tried to take on his man and Colwill made him a lot of the time by giving him the ball in a position to run onto it. ElGarzi still has a way to go and Robinson (never my favourite) proved you don't need to be 6"2' and 90Kgs to be a modern-day centre forward.

We need to find a manager to suit the squad. The youngster (by our standards) are starting to dig out the older pro's
I wasn't quite sure how we were lining up in the second half. Tanner seemed to have his side of the pitch to himself as though he was playing wing back but he's spent so much time tracking back in the last year or so that he's virtually a wing back in every game anyway.

Rinomhota went in at right back in a back 5 when Tanner was injured which made us think we'd been playing that system all half but we weren't sure. It cost us the attacking momentum when he came on (Robertson suddenly got caught out a couple of times as he'd lost his outlet up the right flank) but it was understandable to bring him on. The hero call would've been to bring young Kpakio on there and keep looking for a second goal (I reckon TOBW would've done that) but we got the win so it's all good. It would've been a lot of pressure for a youngster.

Tanner and Colwill did well. I agree. It was a bit similar to the Bristol Rovers cup tie where not much happened until we went 1-0 up then the pair of them made the most of the space they were given after that. It's a shame we don't go ahead more often. Them and Robertson made it a good watch.
