He's a funny one. When he first came here I couldn't work out if he was a wide man or a number 10 but it turned out I wasn't even warm. This article from 2018 has him down as a defensive midfielder, central defender or full back at United so it wouldn't surprise me if you're right about his position now.

My eldest wanted to see him in centre mid here but he didn't make the most of his few chances in that position. I thought he had a chance of making it as a full back/wing back but he got exposed against Leeds in those cup games and that was it for him here. 25 now, I can't really see him getting much further than League 1 or 2 but if can settle in one position and specialise there then you never know. Good luck to him anyway.

I missed your Luke Pearce post in the Academy thread. I'd have answered it there instead of mentioning him here if I'd seen it sooner. I guess you'd seen this Walesonline article too. That he can't play for our under-21s till January is dealt with in a matter of fact way but it makes no sense to me. Do you know any more about it?
