I honestly don't think this is the disaster that people think it is. It's obviously very very disappointing but it's also football, we aren't exactly a powerhouse of a football club and we never have been so we were going to drop eventually.

That said, looking at the amount of clubs that have gone down and come back, with quite a few being ran arguably worse than ourselves and it's not unreasonable to think we're back in the championship within 3 seasons. I wouldn't even be surprised if we have the same starting XI next season give or take a few and we finish in the playoffs in League 1. If the team had the belief to hold onto the our leads this season we'd have finished a lot higher up, we just need to find a manager who can make them more ruthless and assured when defending.

I look forward to this thread being dug up in 2035 when we're finishing bottom half of league 1 for the 10th successive season
