It would be remiss if the club did not insert relegation clauses into CO'D & CR's contract extensions; it would be equally poor if their agents didn't insert a championship release clause for a nominal fee either.
You can see CO'D heading to Oxford, they boo'd him but he applauded them at the end when they played us and if CR is half as valuable as some of our fans think then a return to Preston wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination.
Willock hasn't looked happy since he arrived, and you'd hope that all those signed last season would have relegation clauses, so that may prompt them to look for new pastures. Wintle is nowhere near as bad as some of you think; he fell out with Bulut, but so did I as a fan.
Chambers is a funny one, going from a Premier League squad member to League One in 15 months must hurt his ego, and I was shocked to see he's only 30. Surely someone will offer to take him off us?
I wouldn't be surprised to see NG head to Singapore or SE Asia.
Assuming it is BBM then Turnbull must have found his type of manager, that will be interesting.
The quicker the manager is announced the better for everyone
Id sell O Dowda and Robinson with decent offers.
Chambers can't see anyone taking him for free or Willock. Hope I'm wrong.
Turnbull as well.
Do you really think in the current football economy anybody would pay a transfer fee for either of them?
I honestly think half the trouble at CCS and in the stands is a lack of accepting facts. These two were an integral part of a team that finished bottom of the table. Why on earth would club's be queuing up to pay fees when there are so many free agents on the market and looking for clubs?
We have made so many expensive mistakes over recent years it is mind blowing.
Hopefully the new manager can install some sense and sensibility.
"On 2 September 2024, and prior to applying for Singaporean citizenship, Ng, alongside Japan-born Kyoga Nakamura, was called up to the Singapore national team centralised training camp. Ng received his Singapore permanent residency on 21 March 2025, making him a step closer to represent the Singapore national team.During the March international window, Ng travelled to Singapore on 18 March to train with the Lions." Pure guess work on my behalf, but he is becoming a Singapore citizen and I wonder if his playing over there may be part of the deal

He didn't have the best start to the season, but I'd have him ahead of Rinomhota at RB any day of the week.
If we change to a back 3 he's one of our best players in that role too.
One of our best passers, best set piece takers and one of our best goalkeepers too![]()
Rjk said Ng is one of our best goalkeepers too!
You are not wrong there - we need a decent custodian asap. Build from the back.
Turnbull is one I would like to see staying, I honestly don’t think he had enough of a decent run for me to be really negative about him,yes we need the grafters but perhaps he could give us something a little bit different in League 1.
