We'd like to thank Andy for his professionalism, tenacity and work rate, and wish him all the very best for the future.#CityAsOne
Great servant. End of an era.
Thank you Andy for everything that you did as a Bluebird and best wishes for your future.
I thought he as one of our best players last season, possibly the best overall.
Sorry to see him go but the right thing to do.
Realistically, how many of last season can we see wanting to stay assuming they have an option to do so?
Should have no problem getting a club Championship or Lg1
Shame that. It's funny, start of last season I may have forgot he was still at the club but I thought he was one of the better performers by the end. Good luck to him.
perhaps BBM wants to bring in more of a specialist DM to sit in front of the centre backs. as I'm not sure any of our other midfielders really fulfil that role
So that's everyone gone with contracts expiring. Shame about Rinomhota, now we desperately need a left back.
Think he was treated very shoddily by the club in his second season here and recovered so well in his final year here that he was voted Player’s Player of the Year. One of very few who can look back on last season with a degree of satisfaction. With Rinomhota and Ralls gone, a squad that was already weak mentally has got weaker.
One of our better players last season. Back to Reading?
What is going to be vital is the new manager recruiting players who will be leaders on the field (by example physically and mentally).
It is a shame that a role couldn`t be found for Joe Ralls as he understands what the club is all about. However, it is possible that with the player wages restrictions set by the EFL in League 1 we simply couldn`t offer him an acceptable wage.
Good player with the right attitude.
He will be missed.
Shame.
Rinomhota was my Player of the Season last year and one of the few who could hold his head up.
I can see why BBM wants/needs to free up wages and squad places, but Rino must have been a harder decision than most.
He was a strange signing by Morison who wanted to play out from the back which didn't suit Rino's inability to pass very well. Fair enough, he worked hard and got on with it, but isn't that his job? Thanks, good luck (not that he'll need it - he'll be fine), cheerio.
The more players that leave this current squad the better, the relegation is the proof, being one of the best ,in a crap bunch isn't all that.
I'm not having a go at him and good luck in the future but it's indicative of how shit we were last season when we are saying he is 1 of our best players last season.
We spunked millions last Summer on absolute shite.
