In that case the punitive sanctions imposed on the club by the various governing bodies having jumped the gun as it were could also be declared illegal. In this case there could have been consequential losses suffered by the club.
Let’s say the tragic Sala transfer had been played out at let’s say Man City with the money involved say £100m. do you not think that FIFA would be shaking in its boots at the moment?
