Jon. This is the kind of confirmation stuff you get from 2nd rate politicians that no longer have any future or the ability to discipline themselves. I am sure at some kind of level there is an obscure valedictory point about gradations of racism and who is the most sinned against.

Whilst Abbott was in the inner sanctum of the party the anti-semetic mud started to stick. Corbyn was never able to shake it off and it was a factor at the polls. Shit analogies about ginger hair blow any kind of discourse about the behaviour of the right wing Israeli state and people of the Jewish faith out of the water and reward idiots like LoM.

Sludge - It seems almost a hopeless cause, tories being in power for 13 odd years - probably not good for democracy, yet Labour have been in power at the Senedd for 26 years come the next Senedd elections and the only '3rd way' is Plaid ( a complete basket case of in fighters) or the Lib Dems who dont know if they're Marthur or Arthur , throw in the SNP who one half want to see male born trans rapists in a womans prison and the other half of them are anti same sex marriage. It's hard to know who to vote for.

I don't ever vote conservative

I just wish labour , liberals and the smaller parties would get their act together

It’s great news for Labour.
Especially how decisively Starmer acted compared to Sunak with Raab.

Abbott may well be a great MP for her constituents…but she is an absolute disaster for Labour on a national level.

Give it 6 weeks she will have the whip restored and it'll all be swept under the carpet (again). then she'll pull the Im the victim card, divert the discussion, trigger a new debate etc. She's lowered the bar even further than Corbyn and Livingston - that is some achievement I guess.

Yep I think , regardless though - even as an independent she would stand - and get back in.
Or perhaps get promoted upstairs (as long as she promises not to stand) and become Dame Dianne Abbot of Hackney

I'm not sure if she considers bus segregation to be worse than the Holocaust, or if she's just so braindead she completely forgot about the holocaust.

I used to enjoy her double act with portillo on the late night politics show. Always thought she seemed pretty decent. Unfortunately she's got ever more radical and stupid as the years go on.

I did like the way she asked to 'disassociate herself' from her own remarks. Absolutely fantastic.
