Did anybody get £150 knocked off their gas bill?

      Re: The Budget!

No increase in fuel duty. That's good and would have been very unpopular

Current income tax thresholds to be "unfrozen' but only in 2029. Missed opportunity that really, although it's an inheritance. I think it could have been raised by £1000 to £13,500 as it helps everyone

Being a landlord isn't really work is it, unless you mean a pub landlord

I think you will find it’s a very demanding job especially with the new legislation for contract holders. Without the social landlord, the homeless problem would be considerably worse than it is now.

The WAG are crying out for HMO’s at the moment which are being run by private sector companies, (which I’m looking at presently) as RSL’s just don’t have the portfolio to address the housing shortage.

                  Another virtue signaling clown ,

Look at the bigger picture, business owners will be making the poorest working people redundant

Taxes and borrowing HAVE to go up if the roads , hospitals , schools and care for the elderly and vulnerable are to be in any sort of shape

Who is the woman sitting next to sunak who looks like the joker off batman ?

She's been lying for the last few years under the tory government and she's nodding along to sunaks cobblers today

Yeah it's an interesting one and timing wouldn't be great for a boost for the next election. I wouldn't be surprised if they are planning a 'because things are going so well, we can bring forward the unfreezing of tax bands one year earlier' type strategy.

Most M.P’s are in the same category, you should know this.

A significant percentage on NHS services were privatised under Blair, Brown and other Labour governments, again you should know this.

I think the budget was okay. Bit boring if anything. But what was in this budget for poorer people that hasn't been in recent Conservative ones?
