Trump is many things but he's not Mussolini or Hitler. This line of attack has it's origins deep within the Democrat machine, and the narrative has been amplified by a compliant media, but it's not working. The people voting for Trump are a diverse group, and many Gen Z regard Harris as being totally cringe.

Dense? Bit rich, given that I covered the element of whether you agree with them or not in what I said. I was talking about the character trait.

You seem a bit unnerved by it. What do you think of Dawn Butler saying she is white supremacy in blackface?

Seems a bit off to me.

Lots of things seem 'a bit off' to you. Like people who don't accept your definition of a 'character trait'.

And 'unnerved'? I think you are misreading the room again, when you are not misleading the room with lazy, invented slurs.

But good to know you admire Kemi Badenoch for meaning it when she talks shite.

I posted the below - entirely neutral post - to which you made two posts and managed to mention Adolf Hitler in the first one and the Nazis in the second. Absolutely mad and something has clearly rattled your cage. And yes, I do think that's a bit off. More than that actually, but I'm less interested in hyperbole.

It's increasingly impossible to say anything remotely neutral about anyone that some people have deemed beyond the pale.

It's generally recognised she is a conviction politician. That doesnt mean you need to start talking about Hitler and the Nazis. You arent at one of your rallies now!

"Interesting appointment and interesting woman for me. Says what she thinks and believes in what she believes in which I think is a trait that all admire whether you agree with them or not. That said, it's easier on the back benches and I do wonder how well she will keep factions at bay."

I didn't call Badenoch racist or fascist. Words matter and I do not intend to misuse them - maybe something you should try?

I used the example of a fascist saying what they believed as an example of 'honesty' not being as admirable as you claim. The content matters as much as the transparency. That was it. Then you started to make up things which took the last leg out from your initial poor argument.

I'm getting bored with you now. I'm out.

I think they got vax exemptions too, and they showed no fear whatsoever.

Hitler aside, I guess this will lead to a labour win at the next election? Farage and kemi offering two pretty right wing options to split the vote with no other near centre option?

At least there wont be any gaffes

Yes, words do matter. Which is why when someone says that a politician who tends to have a set of beliefs and sticks to them can be an admirable trait, it is particularly disingenuous when you then link those to one of the most evil men in history. So yeah, words do matter!

Will be interesting to see the opening polls and who is in her cabinet, which will give a key indication.

It might not be quite the procession that the Labour Party expect. I can see the Tories leaking more votes to the Lib Dems, and Labour losing more to the Greens and independents. Reform may increase their MPs next time (even if they lose some of their vote to a Badenoch Tory Party that appeals more to some of their core support). If Reform and the Greens manage to concentrate their vote both could become serious players in Westminster. It will be Labour's to lose, but some of the old electoral certainties are fraying badly.

So you don't consider Adolf Hitler a Nazi? It just doesn't end with you

She's so far right she's fallen over

But every cloud has a silver lining

A move to goose stepping will pull votes away from reform, some of whom were Labour voters ( without a brain )

That will lessen effect of impact in marginal seats

Result ? .....naff off Tories, up yours reform

                                Result
