I attended some Native American pow-wows about 20-25 years ago and knowing how much the indigenous population was cruelly persecuted by the white man in so many ways and that many of them live in poverty on wastelands I was taken aback that they hoist the star-spangled banner and sing the national anthem at such events.

Phew, think I got away with it, you forgot to prepend middle aged to white man. i remember quite a while back when City fans were getting bad press every other week, the CCMB god squad were so quick to point out that it was just a minority, we even had a poster on here who went by the name of "City Fans Blamed" my argument could be i'm a tad older than middle aged. So just might have escaped your generalization.

He's mainly return south Americans who came to America illegally. It's a return to the norms before the world went a bit mad. This is what happened under Clinton for example.

I only found out last week that children in America have to swear the oath of allegiance every day in school - explains a few things I suppose.

Agreed, however understanding that there is a designer behind all that is obviously designed has nothing to do with religion or indoctrination. In fact teaching children that many of the things they observe and study are not designed would be indoctrination.

Wrong. There is no proof of a designer whatsoever. However, I think we all know your spin on things by now and there is little point going around in circles.
It would be interesting, however, if you had the same view on religion being taught in schools if the flavour thereof was Islam or even Jewish, neither significant schisms of Abrahamism that perceive the status of Jesus as you do.

OMB has started in beast mode I do think however, when we get the wall to wall coverage of children being separated etc. etc. many of his base will start to think, do we really want to be like supporting this?. At the moment his lieutenants seem to be going after the wrong uns and there isn't much kick back, I think even the press would have a hard job defending some of the characters being removed but this will change!!.
