And because you are so certain about this you refuse to discuss the subject! As would I in your foundationless position.

Only you need to put a spin on this in the hope that nobody (including yourself) will notice there is no substance to the story you have swallowed.

I am happy to discuss any subject with anyone who doesn't continually represent my views and comments - and you don't come in that category.
You continually bang on about your God on here and, when challenged, requests for meaningful and logical proof are met with deflecting responses, as above.
If you proselytise on here as you do then then you need to respond logically to those who question you about the subject matter you continually raise and without straw man arguments.
For my part, I have explained about a lack of certainty regarding a number of things but you ignore those comments, twist them and come up with fabrications. It's very disingenuous and dishonest.
That's why I don't try to debate with you.

I mention God's Creation yes, I don't need to 'bang on' about it because it fits the world we observe; I could say you bang on about the 'big bang' and evolution, but I don't; all I ask is for you to indicate why you lean that way, and up to now you have not been able to say why you do?

That's the reason you don't wish to engage on this subject, you like so many others can only bring other people's opinions to the table, which you yourself can't fully justify or understand, but because they seem to offer you a 'get out of meeting God card' - you have sided with them in blind hope!

Very ironic as I don't spend my time on this message board preaching a dogma like you do - and I'm endlessly quoting and adding links to support any world view!
You are the person instigating all this God stuff and you should respond to specific questions and comments that counter yours.
However, you seem incapable of doing that and, instead, make ad hominem comments and false assumptions. It's unbelievable tiresome and pointlees trying to debate with you, as I said.
              I'll leave it there.

A 'genie' who has lost his bottle is in real trouble, all you do is whine.
However I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt as I may have missed one of these replies with links to support it.
Why don't you repost your most robust example of one that supports your 'world view' and we can all take a look?

I don't need to be careful with my words at all. Indoctrination is indoctrination and a particular religion shouldn't be foisted upon children at school.
I don't mind what people believe in but subjecting children to a single.religion in an educational environment and teaching them that all other religions are wrong and that their adherents (and non-believers) are consigned to hell is the antithesis of tolerance.
Would you be happy for your child to be indoctrinated with, for example, Islam every day?

Are you talking about Islam specifically? And which schools in the state sector are pushing the kind of stuff you are talking about? I was taught in a Catholic School, and we had nuns as teachers. I wasn't taught to hate anyone, i can assure you of that, and i wasn't taught that all other religions are wrong, and i wasn't told that non believers go to hell. Neither was my wife or my kids. The only thing i kicked up about was the anti abortion crap that the school wanted us to watch in RE classes. I refused and was suspended.

It's just the principle across the board. If schoolchildren are taught about religions across the board that's fine by me. If one particular religion is foisted on them all the way through their school days I consider it indoctrination.
This weekend I'll probably be visiting a mosque and a couple of churches in Eastern Europe so my intolerance, as you put it, is solely about the religious indoctrination of the malleable minds of children.
If you weren't advised that.non-believers go to hell then perhaps you weren't getting the full schtick.

So where did all Americans come from originally? They're all descendants of immigrants, as you well know. I think the Navajo and the Cherokee would like a word with you.

Some think the first inhabitants of North America originally came from Turkey.

Trust me, nobody was told about non believers going to Hell. It was probably referenced in prayers and hymns, but not one person in authority said anything about people who don't believe in a particular god, going to Hell, it really wasn't like that, and it isn't like it now, they wouldn't get away with it for a start. Religious studies taught us (Loosely) about other faiths and religions. Nobody took a blind bit of notice though, and most people who professional to have faith ( certainly the ones I know, are the same, incidentally, I don't believe in God) People generally take the bits out that serve their purpose, matches their character, expectations etc, their faith isn't at the forefront of their minds in my opinion. It's a constant that they use when needed. Not to say that there are extremes out there, although those people are using extremity to suit their own distorted and damaged views on the world. That's how I see it.
