Eh? Plaid are a nationalist party, and so are reform.

Wales has opted for the two main nationalist parties.

Reform are UK (read: primarily England) nationalists who think draping themselves in a flag is enough to convince the electorate that they care about the well-being of a country. Plaid do it with the Welsh flag too, but unlike Reform, have far more policies that don't actually hurt the people they claim to represent.

Highly recommend watching the movie Bob Roberts with Tim Robbins, Alan Rickman and Giancarlo Esposito. It's American-centric, but it's a great lambasting of the kind of people who perpetuate the right-wing cycle.

Welfare reduction, defunding the NHS, ripping up fair work law, austerity in favour of doling out cash to the mega rich, race and class war....inter alia.

Lowering the minimum wage. WTF can live on £15 an hour.

Remove funding from grass root sports.

Reintroduce hire and fire.

Crypto currency so the rich can launder more money.

Cut £150 billion from public spending. Austerity on steroids.

And on and on.

Having been in various civil service departments most of my working life to this point I'm always amazed by the utter waste of public funds. Overpriced contracts, change for the sake of change, spending on absolute nonsense and that's just scratching the surface of what I see and well anyone can see if they bother to look.

The idea that reform would do any worse and drain the public purse any more is quite funny. It's happening right now and has for decades.

I don't know whether they'll drain the public purse anymore but I'm certain they will deflect it. What is really quite funny is believing that Reform will pump more money into the NHS and improve it. That's the kind of thing you see on red buses.
