Most Zionists in the world are evangelical Christians.

There are even a few Zionist atheists who promote a racist ideology for their own political or cultural ends.

The choice many politicians and media owners make to equate Zionism with Judaism is itself profoundly anti Semitic. Hopefully the tide is turning on that.
There definitions of what is and isn't racist depends on different people. As explained, there's a very low bar in many areas and it's unsurprising that such a low bar would apply universally.

I can certainly see why a great many Jewish people would find the phrase racist and offensive.

I find the graffiti offensive, but that's already a crime.

A pattern is emerging of this bunch being pretty grim characters mind, racist, violent or not. Id be surprised if you are really okay with such things being normalised in the Uk.

I recollect we had one called Barmy Army too. Did you mistake the sellers on Sloper Road for military recruitment officers?

But you are right, we are in strange times. Last week people were racist merely for criticising Eni Aluko of course, so I guess the bar is lower than it used to be.

No at the time but similarly I didn't think the Intifada lads were wanting death to all Jews.

You are wonderfully entertaining. I love the way you stretch and morph reality to suit your beliefs and wishes. If it were an artwork it would be described as Surrealist

I mean the reality is they are a proscribed group, one of their members did stick a sledgehammer in a coppers back and now they've been arrested for racist graffiti on a statue of the man who helped beat the Nazis (real ones too, not ones dreamt up!)

                These aren't opinions..

But why are they proscribed? Sticking a sledgehammer into a copper's back is not on but it was one person. I'm sure our law enforcement people could deal with that without tarring everyone else with the same brush. I don't know if you remember but the Cardiff City Soul Crew got up to some pretty nasty behaviour in the past but the police managed to arrest and convict the individual perpetrators without resorting to proscribing the whole group. It's not that difficult to deal with rationally.

As for the statue of Churchill, it's a piece of stone. There are many interesting and developing philosophical theories of consciousness and one very tantalising theory proposes that inanimate objects like stone possess consciousness but no theory has concluded that it is sentient. Unless that is proven I suggest it's futile getting yourself worked up about a splash of paint daubed on something which has no negative feelings about the act.

Dare I remind you that all philosophers conclude that innocent children wantonly slaughtered for fun will have almost certainly suffered unspeakable trauma?

Think it's cos they use(d) violence to try and achieve political goals. The soul crew on the other hand didn't have any political ambitions.

I think you need to go on another one of your sabbaticals from here James. You usually know yourself when you need one, but you seem to be missing the signs this time.

I don't think calling out BS online warrants a break Bob. If that were the case then no one would be working.

Did you know that whilst you and fellow contributors were whiling your time away writing about the culinary delights and risks of City Road and how annoying Chris Pike was you were actively wanting another holocaust to befall all Jewish people?
