Blair is just a greedy Tory who stole Labour clothes for his own gain so he's not a particularly good example. Can you recall any Labour MP fleecing the taxpayer for a super-duper gazebo or any that have used taxpayers money to pay for porn?

The very real concern is that she is taking advice that has been shown to be suspect. Given she is number 2, she needs to show she has better judgement than this as she is playing with everyone's lives.

I think her position is untenable.

When you're in high office, you seek advice of expert Counsel at the outset.

Personally I'd make her walk the plank. The sooner we clean up politics the better

Whether the mistake is ignorance or misunderstanding you'd hope someone in Rayners position would have sought expert advice. Let's be fair she'd have claimed it back on expenses probably.

Thing is, he wasn’t a greedy Tory until a few years later, he was a hero to many in 1997….i think he plummeted in 2002 when he took us to war in Iraq for no good reason, he never recovered….

there are claims now she used 160k from her sons trust fund to help purchase property

if true wouldn't she have to pay stamp duty on that to ? think trust fund money is tax free

Jacqui Smith had to resign as Labour Home Secretary for claiming that a room in her sister's house was her main residence.Not a Gazebo but still outside the rules

And her husband used taxpayers money to.....
Yes....Pay for porn!

And she is back in Government now as Minister for Women

Though she has split from her husband so no more porn!
