Overall the left of centre parties were about 8,000 ahead of Reform.

That is a fair way from twice their number, though it shows they still have a way to go.

Plaid , Labour , Libs , Greens v Reform and your lot ?

Probably a topic for the other board, but very interesting.

Reform wheeled out all of their big hitters and were very confident of a win, well done Caerphilly for sending them packing.

A large amount of tactical voting seems to have won the day.

Clearly Reform will still be a force in the elections in May however.

They still managed to find 12000 gullible fools who are quite happy to see public finances funnelled to the millionaires, all in the name of keeping out immigrants they never see.
Still, at least they got beaten.

Great news hopefully Reform become more exposed for what they are. Vile party.

Glad that Plaid won and, despite their efforts, glad that Reform didn't get as close as they thought they could.

I cant see any scenario where either Reform on their own, or a Reform and Tory combo, will get half of the vote next May, so they wont be the party in power in Wales.

It's brilliantly put by Dave in fact. One of the biggest threats under Reform will be our cherished NHS. Forget all the b******t about immigration, if Reform ever get in government they will look to dismantle the NHS and sell it to their American friends. Then the charges for receiving medical treatment will begin....

The NHS is already slowly being dismantled in Wales under Labour, even you know that.

Plaid could well be the saviour for the NHS in Wales although other already decimated services will be cut further.

Let the mop up begin. Labour try to convince themselves and everyone else that their performance isnt indicative of wider problems, Reform push the narrative that this was a big step and they absolutely categorically definitely werent expecting to win and the tories try and convince the world that they still exist. Oh and lib dems and greens have to grapple with the idea that their national polling can be blown over by the breeze of tactical voting. More delusion to come.
