I don't drink anymore, had high blood pressure and was trying my best to kill my liver so I gave up booze, dropped a bit of weight then did the five months on the jabs.

    Since my heaviest point in 2024 (22st 2 - 310 lbs) I've lost 7 stone.

    Now 15st 2 - 212 lbs, which is about 97kg.

BMI dropped from 40 to 27

Have thrown out all my clothes, twice! Now wear 34 inch waist jeans (was 42), and buy tops size L (was XXXL).

Inflating them must be great for the respiratory system.

Well done Mike, that's brilliant. (and to anyone else on here working hard to get in shape) How's life without alcohol? I presume you liked a beer on football days etc.

I did. that was the only time i'd drink during the day but at home I was on it every night. The difference in productivity is a bonus as I can remember everything, and football days out have changed. All day on the pop is not as fun as it used to be and I don't meet up with people as much. Everyones circumstances change.

I'm happy with a coffee and a bag of maltesers as my treat. Still have a Saturday night curry and have 0.0's sometimes. In the pub a 0.0 Guinness tastes and looks like the real thing.

Well done Mike, I did see a picture of you recently on i think FB, looking really well, I was with a chap today who is currently taking the mounjaro , he was quite happy with on how it was going with none of the rumoured side affects etc. I'll not be tempted though, the shirt I've bought for the lads wedding will be worn whether it fits properly or not!!! when i did my weight loss 14 years ago i lost 5 stone at the bottom limit and kept it off for quite a few years before sliding back into old habits gaining back 3 stone, whilst I've stopped further gains its been a struggle to lose anything, beer will be next to go but not alcohol completely.
