Re: Has the Sir resigned yet
Starmer has to resign and there has to be a major rethink by all parties other than the Tories to keep the Far Right out in the next General Election.
The UK is heading towards being a frightening place to live. To be fair I cant stand the bloke but Frog Face has played a blinder. Nothing sticks.
Him in number 10 Trump in Washington. Netanyahu.
Tommy 10 names Chancellor?
Nick Griffin Immigration?🤣

Desperately trying to hang on to some form of the power they crave later today no doubt, moreover I hope we see the end of that pure lunatic milliband and his net zero nonsense, costing the people of the country a fortune with his insane policiesOriginally posted by North Cardiff Blue View Postsssssshhhhhhhh keep him there, Nigel just said he would be very disappointed if Kia Stammer lost his gig.
His Welsh partner Lynne, Alan Partridge's assistant, is doing a cracking job too.

Classic expectation management. In fairness, I think they will do slightly less badly than some predictions, in that they will lose 4-0 instead of losing 5-0.Originally posted by jon1959 View PostLabour spinning the election as less bad than expected: the number crunchers currently predicting around 1200 losses when some were suggesting 1800 yesterday.
Degrees of melt down? Still a melt down!
I don't believe Starmer will resign and I don't think he should on the back of local election results. Will get hard to ignore though if he is called to do so by growing numbers of senior politicians.

Re: Has the Sir resigned yet
You miss the point here. I wouldn't use the word frightening, but it already is heading that way for many people, and that's if you can afford to live at all. Reform, Plaid, SNP, Greens..they are a symptom of past failures.Originally posted by Hilts View PostStarmer has to resign and there has to be a major rethink by all parties other than the Tories to keep the Far Right out in the next General Election.

I think he will sack Rachel from accounts at some point, to try and show he's doing something, bringing on another defender to try and keep it at only four nil, but it's half time, and we know it will be ten nil by the end of the game.Originally posted by JamesWales View PostClassic expectation management. Re: Has the Sir resigned yet
I don't think I've seen him not look flustered and defensive for well over a year.
Having said that I think he's doing a great job of allowing people to see the incompetence of his party and their politics in general. Someone else might come in and fool a few for a bit, particularly the Welsh and northerners.

I mean, it's the one thing lefties like myself and Reformers can agree on, Starmer is absolute wank and needed to be gone a while ago.Originally posted by ninian opinian View PostNope, still your PM :-)
Another deformer who doesn’t realise how elections in this country work.
