Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan has been all over the mainstream and backwoods media for days before Organ posted. He did, though, decide to give oxygen to a fellow doom-monger who claimed she was in the air over Taiwan yesterday afternoon. She wasn't. My poor offering was just to point out the error of that over-excited fellow traveller of the needle dodger.

Organ is of course quite right that the South China Sea is one of the two most dangerous places on the globe for political trauma and the potential for war. The other one is Israel/Palestine - Iran (not Ukraine). It could be World War Three - if Organ really strikes again (or strikes at all because his hit rate so far is lamentable) - but my guess is that posturing, brinkmanship and overheated back channels will lead in a few weeks to planned de-escalation. If not my Pot Noodle stash is secure!
