If the ball pitches outside off stump but the point of impact is in front of the stumps then the umpire has a decision to make.

If the ball pitches outside leg stump the point of impact doesn’t matter. Pitching outside leg stump should always be not out.
Yes I didnt explain right. Outside off its impact in line.

But it hit the wicket so how was it out of line. If it's going to hit the wicket, it's going to hit the wicket.

Just because a pad gets in the way.....

No its not farcial. Warne knew he couldnt get LBW and that makes the delivery all the better.

It wouldnt have been the same sensational delivery if it had hit his pads.

That ball spun so much Gatting didnt get anywhere near it.

Warnes delivery pitched outside leg. LBW cant be given.

I agree it wouldn't have been as sensational but it still would have hit the wicket and therefore to my simplistic mind, should still be out.

A decent morning tomorrow and England are in big trouble.

Australia have had the more difficult conditions to bat in and have shown Bazball to be the nonsense that it is.

England are already in big trouble. Like the first test a lot is self inflicted.

Agreed, the only hope England have is if Steve Smith loses his marbles in the first few overs before he gets cooking.

Nathan Lyon batting? Do they not use runners these days???

This could still be an attainable target if England bat half-sensibly......and not lose too many wickets last session.

What is this ridiculous entering the pitch from England Batsmen? Stretching.....practising a slash...defensive bat....then sprinting to the wicket.....why not just a concentrated walk?? ye gods..

I don't think it is their walking out that is the problem. It is what they do after.

                              13 - 2 (4.2 overs).

Cannot afford to lose another wicket tonight....and there is Root (whom I am a great admirer of...) dancing on the edge before entering the pitch.....Can you ever imagine Boycott doing that? Sorry..I am just a tradtionalist.....
