How is the Welsh Xavi training on?

Still I think Levitt has the talent, compared with the rest of the options we have in the Welsh midfield to do a job for us over the next few years.
Him and Mason Greenwood were the standout players in the Manchester United academy team.

From what I have seen with Wales he has been a bit hit and miss but has to be a better bet than players like Morrell looking forward if he can get his form and fitness back.
Does he possibly have a relegation release clause?

You can laugh, he was in the Wales national team at 19. His next move will determine whether he can get his career back on track, or become another Ben Woodburn.

            Re: Dylan Levitt

I don't know where you're getting this idea that he doesn't apply himself from. He went out in search of first team football rather than stay in the youth team and when that loan didn't work out went out on another one. He's then impressed at Dundee United in a loan move, helping them into Europe, this season hasn't worked out with relegation and injury, but again he was considered one of their best players. That doesn't suggest a lack of application. He's also wanted by 2 SPL clubs who will be in Europe next season

There are plenty of talented players at top academies, just because their career doesn't go to plan doesn't mean they haven't applied themselves properly, there are plenty of reasons why careers don't go as planned. In Levitt's case, his slight frame and lack of physicality counts against him in the men's game, but he's already ended up much better than most academy prospects by actually playing professional football for good clubs

Yeah, but he was ace as a teenager, so the natural progression should be a top level footballer. That's how it works. Ampadu should have been playing regularly for Chelsea at 18 as well. If we go by that reckoning, his curve would tell us that he hasn't improved.

I was laughing at you grouping him with Greenwood

                  He's got 13 caps.

Levitt was the main provider for a lot of his goals.

As in imposing himself on games, like Cyril said he has been a bit hit and miss.

Maybe he can't do that. Doesn't mean that he hasn't tried or applied himself. Plenty of footballers don't develop into what their ability shows at a young age. You know that already.

Ben Woodburn has really disappointed me.
And there I believe was a possible case of not applying himself.

W-B…I’d love to believe your views on young Welsh Footballers, sadly the hype for them hasn’t been justified.

See what happens with Charlie Savage next I guess.

is it not applying themselves or is it just some players make the leap to the top level, and some dont

There were some rumours going around that Mr Woodburn enjoyed the odd refreshment or two.

Charlie Savage (in his own words) is better than his old man, so there is still hope for him. He started off slowly at FGR but finished strong, and being under the watchful eye of Big Duncan would have been worth the time spent there.

I haven't written off Ampadu or Levitt yet, big season ahead for both if they want to kick on.

I like the look of young Jadan Raymond, he seems like a stylish player, so that's him jinxed and League 2 beckons!

Luke Harris is a bit of an enigma, does he actually play football?

                                As W-B mentioned…
There were rumors that Woodburn was acting unprofessionally.

They are only rumors of course and could be utter horseshit.
