Wouldn't be a bad front 3 of flat track bullies to be fair. Kane, with Messi off the right and Henry off the left !
With Ronaldo, Aguero and Suarez on the bench as cover. It's been thrown at so many over the years at some point but, like I said, it seems to have stuck to Kane for a lot longer than most.

Apply that dodgy metric to Bale then !!!!
Gareth Bale is one of the most decorated players ever out of the UK.
He more than contributed to Real Madrid getting over their relative European drought and going on to win several more while having favorable numbers compared to many Real Madrid legends while scoring some iconic goals.

He could have followed Bale’s path and chose to move but he didn’t until now.

      It’s a crazy comparison.

What's the big deal? He's a forward. He's a prolific goal scorer. He played for an inferior team, even though they did get to a Champions League final. He wants to win. But it's not like he was a midfield maestro surrounded by like players. He isn't capable of controlling games. He's going to win something at Bayern. Spurs are probably not going to win anything. The victory may be hollow. But it may be not. He'll retire with medals.

Luca Modric was 27 when he left spurs and he hadn't won anything in his many years there, despite his obvious talent, then since leaving them he's won 23 major trophies, and a ballon d'or

There's a common theme emerging here

The Flat Track Bully is at it again. This time making defenders from the minnows Italy look out of their depth

Where does this ridiculous term "flat track bully" come from? If you can beat inferior players and become famous and rich from it, who's fault is that?

I think it's original meaning was entirely appropriate. I first heard it referred to in relation to the cricketer Graham Hick, a very good batsman who was proved to be not truly great by his record in international cricket. Hick was from Zimbabwe and had to spend six years I think it was playing county cricket for Worcestershire before he qualified for England through residency. During that time, Hick had a phenomenal record for his county and there was huge hype around how he would transform the English team on his own once hr was available to play for them.

However, right from the start, international bowling attacks discovered weaknesses in Hick's game that county bowlers couldn't - put Hick on a good wicket against, say, a typical Glamorgan attack of the eighties and you could almost guarantee that the only way they'd get him out was if he got bored, yet in sixty five tests for England, he only averaged a very modest thirty one - flat track bully described Hick's career perfectly.

As for Harry Kane, I'd say he's done more than enough at international level to prove he's a bit more than a flat track bully even if I wouldn't put him in the absolute top class of the game.

I actually remember you posting this before. But it seems way overused, and hardly applicable to such a prolific striker who didn't even play for a top team. I could see it being applied to a lower league player that can't make it at the next level. But Harry Kane? People make fun of him for not having medals. It's just because he played for the wrong team. If he had spent the last 10 years at Man City there would be people would be talking about him being the best of all time.

Kane and Jude were outstanding last night I thought. Both world class IMO. When Kane drops deep he's better than most the midfielders behind. I'd take Kane over Haaland.
