Where do you get that kick off time from?

Games are 12.30pm, 3pm and 5.30pm on a Saturday. TV fixtures for that weekend have not been announced yet.

TV fixtures for the opening month will be announced in the next seven days.

TV fixtures up until the beginning of January will be announced before the season starts.

And then in the new year there will be a six week notice period announcing TV fixtures for the rest of the season.

The Sunderland game is surely on TV given the ko time. Or is it that the league don’t give a shite about Mackems and their sleep?

I think that as a default all Saturday fixtures are initially announced as 3pm kick offs.
Once the tv companies get their mucky hands on the lists they'll then change.
In reality we'll have about 10 - 12 home games on Saturdays.

Cardiff v Sunderland is live on Sky Sports +.

All EFL fixtures on the opening weekend are live across all three divisions, either on the regular Sky Channels or Sky Sports + (which I think is a better quality version of the red button).

There will be a lot more games live on Sky Sports + with City (and all clubs) going to be live at least 20 times.

That likely means more 12.30 kick offs.

Sunderland cannot be happy about their opening game. 12.30pm in Cardiff and if they think coming down on Friday is an option then Cardiff hotels are rammed on Friday night as Billy Joel is playing the Millennium Stadium.
