  • Re: Bulut out

It's a terrible start but the fixtures are just about as bad as you can get, we are playing the teams in good form and probably all top-eight teams early in Sunderland, Leeds, Burnley, Boro.

Swansea are weak and should finish in the bottom half, Derby look pretty good so far, but Hull are not so good. From October to December, we will play a lot more bottom-half teams and from memory, Eric's stats showed last year that we beat the teams below us and almost always lost to the top eight teams.

We probably wouldn't have expected to beat Sunderland, Boro, Burnley and Swansea away, so are we that far from where people thought we would be?

Tan could easily hit the panic button if we don't get three points from the next three, we are in a precarious position if that's another Hudson or Morison coming in when we get some better fixtures.

If we'd played Luton, Plymouth, Preston, and Sheffield Wednesday things would probably look a lot different.

Don't get me wrong, we are struggling, but the fixture list has made things look a lot worse than they are.

It isn’t the fixture list. We’ve got 40 points from our last 36 games. We have been dreadful for 9 months

Maybe, but the again the Rotherham game probably showed what the players think of our manager..

I don't think Bulut would have got his new contract without those four straight wins in February/March and, let's be honest, our operfromance in at least two of them (Huddersfield and the wurzels) was nothing special at all.

It's just far deeper than him.

Changing manager at this club just feels a bit like worrying what curtains to put up as your house is burning.

We really just need new owners, new board, new everything.
It’s hard to see what Tan gets out of it these days…..aswell as losing the customary 10 million a year? Maybe he’s hoping to cash in on other young talent, maybe some payout from Nantes before doing one?

Danny Ward missing from a centimetre out meant Bulut stayed on

I to have no idea what Tan gets out of owning CCFC either. Surely after our last relegation from the PL he had done everything he possibly could at the club and it was time to sell up. He is in his seventies now and probably has another 10 years to live in which time owning the club could cost him at least another £100m.

Why does he want to do that?

Can't see anything changing yet unfortunately. If we're still bottom of the table and winless at the end of September though that might be that.

Derby becomes a massive game, lose that and he's in trouble.

Think he'll still be in a job, even after Leeds, but then there's the quartet of games - Bristol City, Millwall, Plymouth, Portsmouth. Less than 2 wins here and he's gone..

Eric's stats will say Bulut beats those types of teams if they are bottom half but lose to the better ones.
