TVAM are quality, they were playing psychfest last year, and the set was trippy as ****. The shrooms didn't help things, but it made for an altogether wonderful experience.

I'll give them all a listen . My shroom days are (over 40 years ago) Sounds like a blast tho.

The Moon is a great venue in Cardiff. That gig is just £8 on the door. I quite like their stuff. Didn't realise they were from Austin.

Think it’s lees than £8 ? £6 on the door ? it costs a lot of money to get a band over here from Texas. They were the stand outs at this years SXSW festival, and it’s great they are playing in Wales….and yes, The Moon is a great venue!

Is it snobbery to have a diverging opinion? As he points out a lot of people are accused of snobbery or contrarianism for disliking Oasis, couldn't it just be they don't like them?

same. I don't like their music and i don't like them as individuals, although i wouldn't have a go at people who think they're great. And i'm more than qualified to say that as i was born, bred and brought up on various council estates.....

I like Simon Price's writing, his book on the Manics is really good, but some of that article did make me a cringe a little despite his good points. I suspect he knows what he's doing mind because that'll drive up the engagement and that's how journalists get paid apparently
