That's not being dramatic it's just an honest assessment of a well below average international squad.
It's like the old days is all. This is normal for us. The Golden Era was an anomaly. We'll have to start playing home Internationals at Wrexham again as the CCS will be too big.

To me, it’s obvious now that Colwill should be starting every league game for City. As for Wales, I think it’s less clear cut and I can understand why he’s not made the squad - I reckon he threw away a big chance for himself with his display against Gibraltar.
Agreed, Bulut has improved Colwill's all round game.

Sorry to go on, but you can't tell me Colwill doesn't merit a place in that squad. There are league 1 players in there, he just bossed Bristol Rovers and has had some good cameos at a decent level. Apparently Arsenal were looking at him ffs

Maybe Bellamy has spoken to him, along the lines of remember this feeling.. make sure I can't leave you out again.. etc

Is this aimed at me? If so, i'm not telling you anything, i don't have an opinion really, i just think that Bulut has made Colwill a better player. I don't know much about the players in Bellamy's squad.

Yeah, good post. Seems odd from Bellamy so you might be onto something with that last sentence. TOBW mentioned the Gibraltar game earlier too. Would love to know the real reasons.

                    It wasn't aimed at anybody

I said sorry to go on because of this post

                      Re: Bellamy's first Wales squad

We have a crucial U21 Euros qualifier against Iceland on 10 September and Rubin is still eligible for the U21s, so perhaps Bellamy thinks it's more important that he plays in that than in the Nations League. I think that would be sensible.

Pretty poor, defence, and keepers are weak, how many premier league full starters are there, even some of the better players are in decline.

Let's see if bulut believes it as obvious and colwill now starts every league game for city.

I don't even disagree with you as I'd start him every game but just pointing out so many managers have been unsure what to make of him and the situation doesn't look any clearer now. It's really not fair on colwill either.

Bellamy categorically said that isn't what he thinks in his press conference.

Bellamy also full of praise for Mark Harris in his press conference.

Also clear he sees rambo as a 10 and he will be playing him just off the striker.

Yes, I vividly remember 6,000ish of us being at the old stadium when we beat the Faroe Islands 6-0.

However, this was the same team that was thrashed by Romania 5-1. when you look at that team on paper they were all playing much more regularly in the top flight than the current crop. Hughes, Saunders, Rush, Southall,Speed, Giggs etc

However, we're much more of a cohesive team today, or have been for the last decade.
