Don’t think he made it did he? Like 99 out of 100 academy prospects….probably just didn’t like an old school type coach who had it quite tough telling him a few home truths….

He had a head like a 50p piece! James Collins scored far more goals from set pieces…..and he’s Welsh! ;)

Why can't we question the kids character? I don't know exactly what went on but if the bit we do know is about an anti-English comment by Bellamy, is that really worth sacking Bellamy?

I joined the Army at 16 and believe me during basic training I was called all sorts and made to do things like press ups in streams in December due to being Welsh. It has had no lasting affect on my life and I don't look back thinking I went through I terrible experience. I finished basic trainning and joined my regiment.

Why an off the cuff comment should cause this youngster such truama is beyond me when it could have been settled by a face to face meeting and an appology.

I’m more “seething” (mainly outwardly actually), that Welshmen were happy to have an English reject captain their Nations football team….but hey…I’m just ‘funny’ like that !

We actually only have Moore in the first XI at the moment. Most of the others have one Welsh parent, and quite a few have played through the age groups.
I realise most people don’t share my views, I’m just not happy with players who are not good enough for their own countries, using ours to satisfy their ambitions/ egos, at the expense of Welsh players…..Moore included.
