think it was more to do with bulut falling out with players as with robinsons injuries not fit either side of an international yet fit to come on as a sub

Yes amazing the difference even an ability to turn and run through the centre of the pitch makes, let alone he has decent enough pace, energy and can pick a forward pass.

I know even a Kaba would make so much difference.

I've been impressed with Colwill, Tanner, and Bagan too, the young players are doing very well.

What gets me is it's taken our transfer team years to finally get someone like Robertson. It really shouldn't be that hard to find players with energy and pace. Yes they may not always work out but this transfer team has spent years bringing in the opposite. Old and or slow.

I think we need some context and perspective too though. I mentioned in the match thread for the Millwall game that I didn't know what people see in him ( I was at the game). That was immediately shot down and I understand why that happened. But for me, he's not the dog's bollox, he's doing what we've wanted to see and needed in CM for years now. I'm I hard person to please so I'm on the fence as to just how good he actually is until I see him against better players/teams. But the signs look good. I just think we go overboard when we now see players doing the stuff that they're supposed to do. That's often interpreted as negative and 'disloyal' but I still haven't seen enough of him and it wasn't that long ago that he was being criticised on here too.

We've been so desperate for any scraps so far this season that the Millwall and Bristol games seem like top football. There's still a lot of the season to go and some much tougher matches ahead (I think too many are thinking Plymouth is an easy one tbh).
