I’m with you & not TLG.
I’ve seen them live 3 times. Chrissy McVie finished Wembley with Songbird. The only concert I’ve been to where the audience walked out in silence.

In terms of Super Bands, they have to be up there. I'm no fan of them, but i suppose if we categorised bands then they'd be up there. Personally, they're that genre that makes my toes curl, and not for the right reasons, add in U2 as well.

I think there's a fair argument to be made that Rumours is one of, if not the, best albums of all time. 8 genuine classics on one album.

It's all subjective though. Apparently, AC/DC's Back in Black album has sold more copies than Rumours.

You're right its subjective, but I don't think you'd get many arguing against songs like Go Your Own Way or Songbird being genuine classics

A pretty good band but I prefer Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac

They're one of those bands that appeal strongly to a wide range of the public, but equally they no doubt bore just as many if not more people shitless.

                  That's music for you.

Agreed, I never liked the Mid Atlantic Mush Rock later version of Fleetwood Mac as much as the Peter Green version

Is the audience walking out in silence a good or a bad thing?!

Totally agree. Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac were superb. The lesser reincarnation were OK and Lindsey Buckingham's guitar playing is exceptional but as a whole they didn't float my boat.

Never liked Yes much. As for Fleetwood Mac, they’re like two bands, pre and post Peter Green - they were both good, but best ever? I’ve never thought of them in those terms.

Burst onto the scene, did their thing and left
In the City, Strange Town, Down in a Tube station at midnight, David Watts, Thats entertainment, Smithers Jones to name but a few.
All iconic songs, tremendous lyrics, anti establishment, thought provoking and straight to the point.
