To say that this is extortion is showing crass naivety in the law. Our club could do nothing about the transfer being handled by illegitimate agents even the BA flight arranged by the club was turned down. My understanding is that Tan made a substantial contribution to the Sala family fund a gesture eschewed by the governing bodies involved. Tan, incidentally, has an exemplary record in Malaysia to endowments for good causes.
For the good of football FC Nantes need to be brought to account even if the club get no money out of it because my understanding is that in the event that FC Nantes having no adequate insurance in place then CCFC could be whistling Dixie for whatever sum is awarded.
You seem oblivious of the fact that the President and vice President of FC Nantes have been charged with fraud and money laundering by the French police and are awaiting trial. This is why it is even more important that the City win this case to rid football of some of the low life.

CCFC offered him safe transport back to Cardiff with the option of getting him back to Paris for a proper flight back to Cardiff on a scheduled commercial flight or sending someone from the club over to Nantes to drive him back. Instead, under the influence of Nantes` agent he took the alternative of the private flight back on a totally unsuitable flight with an unqualified pilot.
