If you punch someone for no reason other than you thought you were going to be punched it’s assault .
McLean should be charged with assault . Being abusive isn’t illegal , it may be annoying but lashing out isn’t the answer .

If the Cardiff fan smacked him in the mouth, it would be a much bigger deal and he would have been charged.
