I honestly don't think this embargo is any big deal as I'll be surprised if the club makes any signings of note in this window regardless of the circumstances.

However, it's amusing to read back through this thread and see that certain individuals were claiming either there was no embargo in the first place or it would have all been sorted out by Monday morning. That went well.

I also think the Trust's statement was poorly-worded. Unfortunately, the Trust's board sounded like club apologists once again.

According to the EFL website, clubs are supposed to be informed 2 working days before the EFL publish it on their website - so I think it's pretty poor that the club didn't put something out about it before people started seeing it on there.

it doesn't seem like something that should take long to resolve fortunately
