Look at the nonsense he posts, that tells you all you need to know about dopes on Mushrooms and dope!Originally posted by William Treseder View PostSludge is an expert on this topic, but alas he’s on the naughty step on this site.
There is a strong connection between people taking drugs and having mental health issues eventually.

Re: Magic muchrooms
It would have changed his mind; maybe he never 100% got over it, that's all it takes.Originally posted by goats View PostThere is a fine line mind, some old friends I know took it too far and never came back. You need a strong mind to be able to handle LSD or large doses of mushrooms. I’d never do it these days, probably send me over the edge, but in the 90’s it was just fine when you had f all to think about. Last time I did anything like it was almost 20 years ago, a mate just started his business making hash chocolates, he got the measurements wrong and they were unbelievably strong. No one could move for about 5 hours, couldn’t feel my legs or swallow.
One guy with us had a full on panic attack all night and had to take a month off work, it wasn’t for him and it kicked off things in his mind he’d blocked out for years….took him at least 6 months to recover.

Re: Magic muchrooms
You know far more than me as I don't do them, but the risk v reward has never seemed sensible to me, but each to their own.Originally posted by Coyote View PostYou can't really be arrested for picking mushrooms unless you go up to the police and say "I'm collecting psilocybin mushrooms to make stuff with".
As someone who has used them to deal with treatment-resistant depression in the past, they come with both good and bad, and I'd recommend against overuse as I once did because it can really mess up your nervous system regulation and make things feel more intense than they ought to be. So something that's a 3/10 stress level can end up being an 8/10, and something that's 8/10 stress can feel like you're having a heart attack. They can be used positively in moderation, and I encourage their use as a potential means to treat depressive disorders, however, they're not candy and can have long-lasting neurological effects, especially if overused.
