Interesting to hear this Barnsley vlog comparing us to the Ipswich promotion side of a few seasons ago in terms of best Leaguer One sides of recent years. I must admit that I thought we were good, but hardly outstanding last night with sloppy spells either side of half time, but I've noticed that fans of other clubs are often impressed by us even when I reckon we've not been anywhere near our best. So, I wonder if I, and many other City fans, are becoming a bit blase about the football we're watching every week?

Re: Are we that good?r
I thought we were very good last night but as you said had a couple of wobbles. I think Barnsley will feel hard done by that score line, on a different night with different decisions the game would have been closer, but ultimately we deserved the 3 points.
Anyone else get bored of hearing shoot every time someone gets the ball (including Trott at one point)? :hehe:

I got (and always do), fed up up when the crowd (where were they), shouted hooray at every pass in the last ten minutes.
Get a life people, please !!!!!!!

I’ve been so impressed with us this season - the team seem to have so much self belief, even when losing they have a patience and calm and stick to the way the manager has them drilled. Really enjoying watching this team, which is unusual after the dross of the last few years.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostInteresting to hear this Barnsley vlog comparing us to the Ipswich promotion side of a few seasons ago in terms of best Leaguer One sides of recent years. The most frustrating thing this season is our “fans” who insist on screaming abuse at our players for sticking to the patient possession based game that BBM is coaching them on, and has got us to top of the league. My highlight yesterday at 3 nil up, a guy behind me was screaming at Willock “you’re just a fu€¥ing bottler”.

Re: Are we that good?r
To add a bit of balance, can I be the first to say we only beat them because we had more quality in key areas and we’re only top because it’s a poor league.
For the avoidance of any doubt, sarcasm was completely intentional.
Thought we were great. Agree wholeheartedly with Re-sign’s comments re BBMs drill.

Interesting to see they didn't make anything of Robertson potential sending off - thought we dodged a bullet there and could have changed the shape of the game if he had gone but agree we didn't play that well in patches last night with quite a few poor passes (lacked precision) but we scored 4 so all good 😂Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostInteresting to hear this Barnsley vlog comparing us to the Ipswich promotion side of a few seasons ago in terms of best Leaguer One sides of recent years. In fact I think your post is the first use of the word hooray since 1952 :sherlock:

TBF, the crowd had a point, Trotts goal scoring record is abysmalOriginally posted by Jimmy_Tango View PostI thought we were very good last night but as you said had a couple of wobbles.
