As I said I wish her the best but she has brought it upon herself.
This article in the Guardian broadly agrees with your final sentence, but takes more words to say it.
The former England international is a pioneer in football and the media. But her broadside on TV punditry is another own goal, empowering the most chauvinistic commentators

Thought she spoke quite well on the show yesterday and gave some context to some of the things she’s said that have been blown up.

Don’t think she’s the best pundit, especially in the men’s game, but it’s all starting to be a bit of a pile on now.

I worry for her mental health.
She does seem to be a bit of a nightmare and really hasn’t helped herself one jot.

Wasn’t she the person that initiated the guy from Cardiff getting the sack from the Women’s England job?

Is this woman that blames Ian Wright for her lack of success?

Eni Aluko just hasn't done herself any favours and, in announcing she's quitting punditry, has given her an element of control, even though she wouldn't be on many broadcasters shortlists anyway.
Exactly, they've quit employing her, thankfully.

Agreed, he knows a lot, he's one of a small number of people to have owned a football club and seen things from both sides.

White bloke, shockjock type and former none too successful football club owner = plain speaker who tells it how it is.

Black, female former footballer with controversial opinions = mouthy bitch.

As a pundit from another era used to say, it's a funny old game,

He's keeping his job because he's good at it, although he could well get cancelled one day.

It's not because she's mouthy, it's because what she says often makes no sense.
