Re: Eni Aluko quiting broadcasting for good.
I watched about three quarters of it before I gave up because they were just repeating themselves as they went round and round in circles - it was a useful reminder as to why I should continue giving Talksport a wide birth. I had no time whatsoever for Jim White who’s just a hack continually trying to make the mundane sound sensational, but thought both Aluko and Jordanmade some good points while also having quite a few weak spots - in football terms, I would have rated it a low scoring draw with both parties showing more weaknesses than strengths.
At one time. Jordan said “I have a daughter” as if that meant he knew exactly what it’s like to be a (young) woman in the mid 2020s. He’s not alone in thinking like that as there seems to be an awful lot of middle age/old white men who talk as if they know what it is to be black and/or a woman today -i don’t know what it’s like to be in those demographics, so try, but don’t always succeed, to not allow my opinions to be guided by preconceptions.
