You can find tickets for £50 if you are prepared to sit near Trump. There are still plenty left, as there have been no takers so far.

            This bit as well

Fifa has not made free tickets available to the assistants of fans using wheelchairs. Tickets must be bought at full price and they may not be situated next to each other

            c***s the lot of them

Re: Would you pay these prices?

Probably compares to the annual Superbowl. Plenty of wealth over there but we will see if there is the demand at those prices. If there is then they will argue the pricing is right, even if to most of us its just gross and an almost complete lack of respect for what the game should be about.

                I hope it's a Bosnia Sweden final.

You only have to listen to Trump for 5 minutes to see that you are wrong.

Correct, we have a Republican government that's taking down the world economy. America, bigger, better.

$11,000 is only small change to people unaffected by the economy. Super Bowl tickets are less than a third of that.

Oh, and the parking for Met Life Stadium (NY/NJ) is $225. There's no parking in the stadium lot. Everyone has to park in the mall next door. Parking for Jets and Giants games, gigs etc is $40. I think the stadium parking lot is being used for fan zones, promotions etc. It's a huge space.

Train fares being increased massively too:
Scotland and England fans face a huge price hike to travel by train to World Cup group-stage matches at Boston Stadium.

This is their publicly owned transport authority. It costs $20 return from Boston to Foxboro for NE Patriots games but they are charging $80 for the world cup.

Absolutely outrageous. That's like £60 for a return from Cardiff to Bridgend or thereabouts.

                                Disgraceful
