The US debt is irreparable, so they are printing money at a massive scale to try to inflate it away. Wage earners will feel the pinch. It will be the shareholders and asset holders that get richer and richer, and the gap between the rich and poor will grow even bigger.

There are plenty of Americans who can afford those prices and fill those stadiums.
Is it? Based on what? The top 1%? They're worth over $50 trillion. More than the GDP of any country on the world. It doesn't trickle down to the rest of us.

It should do if you're buying shares, that's the only way to keep level or get ahead of money printing inflation, US equities are flying, but you'd no better than about how it is day to day, so fair enough

Unfortunately, the stock market is not the economy. 1% of Americans own 50% of the market, 10% own over 90%. One of the many things non college-educated white people that make up the majority of Donald Trump's cult don't know. They cheer when announces the Wall Street numbers.

Yes, that's a shame and why the rich get richer, and money goes to money. The only good thing then is for your 401 accounts. Watch out for the SpaceX IPO, talk they'll allow it straight into the S&P 500 and maybe QQQ, it will be overvalued and will be sold down quickly, retail investors will be used for the profits of institutional investors.

              Isn't that always the case?

Now there's going to be a halftime show! They've not confirmed it yet, but it's going to be longer than 15 minutes isn't it?

Madonna, Shakira and K-pop boy band BTS will headline the Super Bowl-style half-time show at this summer's World Cup final.

The BBC understands the show will be 11 minutes long. 3 artists squeezed into 11 minutes, what would even be the point.

I can't say I have a big issue with it. This world cup will be shit, but FIFA respecting some sporting cultures of Howe countries is fair enough and a half time show doesn't register on my list of world cup issues. If you don't like it it can turned off. I assume BBC will also offer a service to listen to it on the red button instead of half time analysis too.

                        They need not worry.
That FIFA Peace Prize winner will absolve them of any wrong-doing.

In the late seventies Dutch TV would show ten minutes of Tommy Cooper or Benny Hill at half-time.

Trump’s Presidency should be played out with the Benny Hill theme playing in the background.
