I’m not saying it wasn’t a great game, but that was because Glamorgan turned what should have been a pretty routine win into a very exciting defeat .because of their ineptitude.

One thing I’ll admit to getting wrong having having watched a few minutes of today’s Sky game, there’s no way Glamorgan’s are the worst team in anyT20 tournament that Middlesex are playing in.

I was just about to post exactly the same. Middlesex look woeful and I don’t think that pink kit helps either!!

          Out for 135.

Glamorgan's Jersey-born batter Asa Tribe continues to stake his claim for a senior call-up by impressing for England Lions against South Africa A.

The 2 Durham openers are rightly ahead of him at the moment, but all he can do is keep playing well and keep reminding them he's not far behind.

Glamorgan had Gloucestershire 121-8 with three overs left - it’s one thing conceding thirty seven runs off eighteen balls to specialist batsmen, but this was to a youngster making his way in the game and a bowler with a T20 average of 8.
The 99% would have been ridiculous for most sides.

Yorkshire were 139-8 earlier, needing 56 off the last 27 balls to beat Derbyshire and they got home with four balls to spare.

An interview with Asa Tribe here, done during the Lions game. Rob Key has been talking to him, things are looking positive. I was hoping Key had told him he's completed the Lions now so can go and play T20 for Glamorgan but it doesn't get mentioned.

Talking of T20, any news on Nathan McAndrew? He's due to play for us on Friday but I haven't seen that confirmed.

He was supposed to play for us last week as well, so not sure what's going on there. Injured?

Not sure, he's here now though.

All checked in at Sophia Gardens and ready to go Nathan McAndrew joined training today and is set to make his Glamorgan debut on Friday night as Somerset roll into town ️ https://t.co/mDjUIJk2tW #GLAvSOM #OhGlammyGlammy https://t.co/Uwif3TyYg8

It says there that Hadley is now available for the next two Championship games which would give us three overseas players for them as well as three for our T20 campaign.

After Banton in particular started off like a house on fire, Glamorgancame back well to limit Somerset to 171-9 - three wickets for Crane, but the star was NathanMcAndrew with 4-15.

As debuts go, that's up there with Matt Kuhnemann's brief appearance last year.
