Paul, what’s happening with Jai Semenyo? He played up at Liverpool in the FA Cup and was talked about very highly. Now he seems to be very much in the background.
He was an unused sub for a League Cup game this season I believe, but his progress has stalled in the last year or so, he should be starting more games at this level if he wants a new contract.

He's been leap frogged in the pecking order by Youth team player Will Spiers. Who looks a big talent; a very dynamic player who is more tenacious defensively than Semenyo. I'm guessing the latter will be released when his contract is up at the end of the season.

didn't semenyo refuse to go on loan to a Welsh premier side last season?

Spiers is a bit of a goal threat as well isn’t he.
The highlights of the under 18 team’s win over the wurzels on Saturday on the club website are well worth a watch, some really nice football played and three good goals.
