Next match: Pre-season. Saturday, July 11th | FC Midtjylland (H) @ Cardiff City Stadium, 12:30pm -
All pre-season fixtures
43-4 in their second innings and every batsmen has given their wicket away rather than been got out by brilliant bowling - feeble stuff apart from Alex Lees who is at least showing some fight.
The selection policy needs addressing. England should not be going into a series experimenting with the lineup. Leave your best players at home then throw in others without enough experience and you're asking for trouble.
Australia have won in Pakistan with basically the same team that won the Ashes, yet we feel the need change about half the team.
Just pick you're best team ffs.

BT Sport showed a graphic during the first drinks break of the day showing that only one ball England had bowled in the first hour of play would have hit the stumps!

I listened to a bit earlier. Woakes was consistently bowling towards leg stump. I like him as a first change bowler at home, but opening the bowling in the Caribbean? No thanks.

This looks like a nailed on defeat and a series defeat. It has to be the end of Root’s captaincy.
 but who to turn to, bairstow maybe from the current squad other than him i really dont know also the openers need a change but once again who
Englands last two wickets scored 16 runs in an hour this morning. I don't get it. Whats the point ? At that rate they could have batted all day and still only been 100 runs ahead. Their only chance was to try to score a few quick runs and then put Windies under some pressure. Instead they went nowhere, batted for an hour defensively, got balls with their names on (as was always going to happen) and set Windies a ‘massive’ 26 to win. Pointless. Whoever sets the team tactics for this shower is mad.
Root reckons England have played a lot of brilliant cricket. Deluded.
Bottom of the Test Championship.
Broad and Anderson must be pissing themselves.
Time and Time again theyve had to try and recover a useless batting collapse and the brilliant minds of Strauss and co come up with the master plan to leave these 2 out.
Brilliant decision when Archer , Stone are already missing and Wood always struggling with stringing together games.

How about giving the captaincy to Stuart Broad for a couple of years, whilst they think about a longer term captain such as Pope or Lawrence?
